Our 103 Study Centres spread across the geopolitical zones of Nigeria are equipped with requisite physical infrastructure, human and material resources with top-notch ICT competencies for learning, in compliance with the best global standards of education in all NOUN accredited programmes.
Five Years Programmes Accredited In NOUN: There are courses that require more than the normal four or three years a student is expected to run a course or programme in higher institutions.
Four (4) years for direct entry candidates and five (5) years for students who came in from 100 levels.
✅ B. Agriculture, Aquaculture, etc.. – FOAg:
Four (4) years for direct entry candidates and five (5) years for students who came in from 100 levels.
student must earn a minimum of 167 credit units for the five-year programme and 132 credit units for the four-year (direct entry) programme in agriculture and related fields
✅ B.Sc. Environmental Management and Toxicology – FOS:
The Bachelor of science BSc. (Hons) in Environmental Science and Resource Management was one of the university’s pioneer programmes that started in 2003. However, this four-year programme was phased out in June 2017 and has been replaced with B.Sc. Environmental Management and Toxicology, a five-year programme._
✅ Bachelor of Nursing Science-FOHS:
BNSc Degree programme runs for 10 semesters or five (5) years.
Minimum of 148 credit units including the 12 units of University electives.
A – 70 – 100% – CGPA 4.51 – 5.00 Pass with distinction
B – 60 – 69% – CGPA 3.51 – 4.50 Pass with Credit
C – 50 – 59% – CGPA 2.50 – 3.50 Pass
There might be No certificate if CGPA is below 2.5
✅ Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)-FOL:
Law programme duration is five (5) years. Students must have 202 credit units except for direct entry students
must have 195 Credit Units.
A student of average intelligence, who is diligent in his studies, is expected to complete the law programme leading to the award of the degree of Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) in five (5) years. An extension may be allowed but not beyond eight (8) years.
Note: It must all end within 8 years with higher credit units required.
