When will I get my IELTS on paper results (including IELTS for UKVI)?

Your IELTS on paper results will be available online at 12:00 am GMT on the 13th day after the test.

When we receive the IELTS Test result?

Candidates will receive their Test Report Form within ten days from the result date for the paper-based test and five to seven days for a computer-delivered test. Candidates should also need to give at least 7 working days for the delivery. Few test centers also send results online and SMS service as well. Test takers should keep the copy safely as they will be receiving only one copy.

What are IELTS passing marks?

As such there is no threshold set by the IELTS testing agencies. Scoring is done as per the band system. Every institution sets its own level of IELTS scores for admitting students.

What if my IELTS test result is wrong?

In case you feel that your marks are not correct then you can ask for remarking for the whole test or either for any of the sections no later than six weeks after the test date. Candidates need to pay Rs 9,000 as an EOR fee for both Computer-delivered and Pen and Paper-based IELTS. If the band scores will change in the re-marking then the EOR fee will be refunded. Usually, it takes 4 to 6 weeks to process a request for re-marking.

Can I re-take the IELTS test?

Candidates can take the IELTS exam whenever they are ready to do so, there are no restrictions on retaking the IELTS. However, candidates need to pay the registration fee every time they book the IELTS test.

Yes, you can recheck the IELTS score by requesting a review within six weeks of the test date. Candidates have the option to re-check one or more modules of the exam by paying a fee of Rs 11,025 as an EOR fee.
