The JAMB 2022 registration in Nigeria will start on Saturday 19th, February and end on Saturday 26th March 2022.

The JAMB 2022 examination will take take place from Friday 6th to Monday 16th May 2022. The JAMB mock examination date is Saturday 9th April 2022.

Registration for the Joint Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam is through the creation of a profile code by sending your NIN number to ‘55019‘ or ‘66019’ as a text message.

Dial *55019*1*NIN# or *66019*1*NIN# to get your ten (10) digits JAMB profile code.

NIN is an eleven (11) digit code that stands for National Identification number.

The amount for the JAMB registration is four thousand and seven hundred naira (₦4,700).

JAMB Registration 2022 Requirements

Here are the requirements for the JAMB registration 2022;

  • National Identification Number (NIN)
  • JAMB Profile Code
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • O’level/A’level Result
  • JAMB E-pin
  • Biodata

National Identification Number (NIN)

The National Identification Number (NIN) is an eleven (11) digit code that is compulsory for the JAMB examination.

You can get your NIN number by visiting a registration centre that is close to you.

The requirement to get the NIN number for your JAMB registration is;

  • Birth Certificate
  • Local Government of Origin Certificate.

JAMB Profile Code

The JAMB profile code is a ten (10) digit number for the registration process.

You can generate your JAMB profile code by dialling *55019*1*NIN# or *66019*1*NIN# on your phone.

Generation of your JAMB profile code will cost you fifty naira (₦50).

Phone Number

You need a mobile phone number for the creation of your JAMB profile code.

Your phone number would also be used for filling your biodata.

Do not use the same phone number that you used for last year JAMB registration.

Email Address

A Google email address is a requirement for the creation of your JAMB profile.

You will use your email address and password to access your JAMB CAPS to accept your admission on the JAMB portal.

O’level/A’level Result

O’level is your senior secondary school leaving certificate result. An example is your WAEC and NECO results.

You can register for the JAMB examination using awaiting results if you are still in Senior Secondary School. You would be able to upload your result to the JAMB portal when your O’levl is out.

A’level result is an advance secondary school result for direct entry applicants.
