According to the College Board, there are 34 test centers for SAT and SAT Subject Tests in Egypt. Please note that before you register either of the SAT exams, you should choose your test date and test location. Each testing location is affiliated with an educational institution, such as high school, community college, or university. Education

There is a nine-year compulsory schooling from the age of 6, which is completed in two stages: six-year primary school and three-year preparatory school, which awards the “Basic Education Completion Certificate”. Afterwards, students can either attend one of the secondary schools leading to the general university entrance qualification or one of the three- or five-year technical schools. Higher education in Egypt is provided by universities and university-like institutions. Media

In the »Arab Spring« in 2011, the media landscape became broader and more diverse. After the military coup in 2013, state pressure increased again and the media products of the Muslim Brotherhood were banned.

Press: There are more than 20 daily newspapers and 50 weekly newspapers, also in French and English. The daily newspapers with the highest circulation, Al Ahram, Al-Gomhuriya and Al-Akhbar, are mostly state-owned. News Agency: The state-controlled Middle East News Agency (MENA) is the most important in the Middle East and North Africa; it disseminates word and image material in Arabic, French and English.

There are also numerous private broadcasters, e. B. “Dream TV”. Egyptian satellite channels, such as the Nile Television Network, reach the entire Arab, African and European region.
